Pat Robertson Strikes Again

January 12th 2007 15:16
Pat's Latest Picture

Do you consider yourself religious? Is your faith strong? If you answered no to one or both questions, then according to Pat Robertson, you shouldn’t have children. Here we go again on yet another one of crazy Pat’s rants. He apparently made comments recently about the constant decline of the population in Germany. He stated that the decline in population is because it is a supposed fact that it is “only those with strong religious faith who have children.” Here is his actual statement on the situation:

“In order to have babies, you’ve got to have a hope in the future … If you don’t believe in God, if you have an existential view of life, if this life is all there is, then, as Peggy Lee sang "why don’t we break out the booze and have a ball?" Why do we go to all that trouble? It’s only those with strong religious faith who have children. That’s the truth.”

Crazy Pat seems to think that the people of Europe have basically lost their religious way and so the outcome is a decrease in population due to lack of babies being born. For some reason he thinks the people of Europe have more or less given up and “they see no hope for the future”, thus making them not reproduce. There must be an awful lot of depressed Europeans sitting around drinking and popping pills then. He actually said that Europe is becoming “statistically irrelevant”. Wow, apparently Mr. Robertson thinks his crap doesn’t stink! As he sits in the US (which also apparently experienced a decline as well) he is smug in the fact that he hears God speak to him directly and with his holier than thou attitude, casts stones at the Europeans for not being baby factories. He also went on to say that even though the US has experienced a decline as well, it has made up for it with the “wonderful flood of immigrants.” Apparently he doesn’t live around a lot of certain groups that are more or less undesirable to live around. He sits in his nice big house, where the closest neighbor is probably white and has no idea what it’s actually like to have to interact with people of certain cultures that don’t really like Americans, and really don’t like white Americans.

As for the comments he made about only people with strong religious faith having children, he’s delusional. What about some of the black or Mexican women that get pregnant at the drop of a hat and have no religious or social structure, or even know who the father is? Are they strong in their faith? He really has no idea about much of anything, yet he still feels the need to express his idiotic thoughts and share them with the world. Maybe he should stop reading the Bible (which is written on an 8th grade reading level) and pick up something more thought provoking for once. Or better yet, maybe he should see a psychiatrist to discuss the voices in his head that he is calling “God”. As the months go on, we keep hearing more and more from this man. How much more drivel can actually fall out of his mouth? Great job Pat! The Europeans, especially Germany, already can’t really stand the US….why not make it even worse by basically calling all of them Godless heathens? What a train wreck.
